It reduces anxiety, depression, relieves muscle aches and joint pains and improves labour outcomes and new-born health. Additionally, a post-natal massage is available after the birth to assist with relieving tension caused by the birth.

For prenatal massage, it is recommended that your appointments coincide with your doctor visits. This means once a month until 27 weeks, and twice a month until 36 weeks. After that, it is recommended that you transition to weekly appointments until you give birth.

This massage is a gentle and soothing massage that is available from birth. It aims to calm baby and is helpful with promoting joint and muscle movement. Massage can also enhance oxygen and nutrient flow to cells and improve breathing patterns and lung health (respiration). It can enhance the release of hormones, including growth hormones to help with weight gain, and can spark neurons in the brain to grow and branch out to improve mental processing/skills (cognition).
